WHEN WE DON’T YET TRUST WHO WE ARE, WE HAVE TO BE “SPECIAL.”
We have to be a unique snowflake and we HATE admitting that we need help from other people.
This walls us off and away from strong people, especially when they have something important to teach us.
When we are insecure, we are either trying to prove that we are different and better every chance we get-
Or we are trying to blend, make ourselves feel like the “same” without anyone else having more unique power in certain areas.
We can’t fully celebrate the power of other people here and we can’t fully celebrate ourselves.
Only when we embrace who we are (the ugly and pretty), are we not afraid of being on the same level as everyone else and truly needing others to live fully activated in our gifts. We can admit to our vulnerability and the fact that we need help. Here we are not any better and not any worse.
To being on the level of everyone else and the ego smashing beauty of true connection.
